The program was packed with specialist information, practical knowledge of active sound designers and future
prospects for this field of work, which is becoming increasingly important. The themes of the planned sessions
have ranged from Psychoacoustics & Fundamentals, to Theatre, Concert, Event and Multimedia, to work for Filmsound & Music,
to Audio-design for TV and Radio, to Interaction and Games, and Acoustic Design.
For the important field of Games Audio, in addition to practice-oriented contributions, this theme complex
has dealed with business aspects of this industry and topics such as licensing law, exploitation and secondary
exploitation, as well as the general legal situation in the games industry.
The program for the three-day international symposium has included 35 Lectures, 22 Workshops
with practical demonstrations and 5 Roundtable discussions. It has offered a realistic work-related environment,
thanks to integration of the content and layout of product contributions and demonstrations in demo rooms as well
as the accompanying specialised exhibition.
The organizers would like to express their sincere thanks to all presenters giving valuable contributions to the Symposium´s program.
